Mrs. Starch, the mean and strict biology teacher. But when a fire breaks out on a school outing to Black Vine Swamp and she disappears, Nick Waters and his friend Marta think maybe a troubled kid Duane Scrod is to blame. students go on a field trip to the swamp they didn't stay long because the woods catch on fire and Nick Waters the teachers send the kids back to the bus and one of the teachers went back to get someones med. the teacher said leave me behind and the next day she don't show upand she is not at home. They think it is Duane has something to do with the teachers disappearance.

ReplyDeleteThe class goes on a feild trip to a swamp. They didnt stay too long because the woods caught on fire and the teacher sent the kids back to the bus. One of the teachers had to go back for the medicine. The teacher was left behind and the next day, she didnt show up at school. All of the students and teachers were worried and they went back to go find her. This book is a mystery and will keep you on your feet. You will not want to put this book down and when you read it you will have to recomend this book. :)
ReplyDeleteStudents are at school and one day they go on a field trip to a swamp. The students then realize that there is a fire and they all go back on the bus but one kid is missing. Mrs. Starch went back to go get the kid and she told the kid to leave her behind. The next day the kids go to school they soon realize that the teacher wasnt there. There were all wondering what had happened to their teacher. They all think Duane, "Smoke," did it bc he is known for starting fires on peoples property. Did Duane do it or was it just a set up? Read to find out more about what happened to Mrs. Starch.
ReplyDeleteScat was a good book it was about a scool teacher that went missing. Many expect that she was kidnapped the school outcast. two kids investigate the wierd disappears of the mean teacher. they went to visist her house they found a note saying that she was o.k that she had a family emergency. The police got invovled.One day the kids said the had saw the teacher in the passenger seat of a car ,riding with a unknown malee. it turned out that male was her brother the two kids ran into him while trying to seek around. it turns out that teacher is o.k.
