Once she finally arrives at Smoke, Tally is surprised at how happy she is to see Shay again. Life at Smoke is very different from life at Uglyville. What are some of the differences? Though life at Smoke can be very difficult, Tally is finding enjoyment and happiness there. At this point in the novel, do you believe Tally will activate her pendant and disclose the location of Smoke to the Specials? Why or why not?
No I do not because shay is her friend.Tally would not betrey her firend like that just to be pretty.
ReplyDeleteSome of the diffrences between the smoke and uglyville are that at the smoke you cant have everything you want unlike the city where it all pops out of the wall and you can have anything you want. i dont think Tally will activate her pendant because she would not betray all of the free people in the smoke.
ReplyDeleteIn Uglyville you have to work and have jobs, in Pretty town you just ask the wall and voila its there. I dont think Tally would activate the pendant. She is already becoming close to these people and she realises that she would be ruining many peoples lives.
ReplyDeletei do not think it was betrail because that was shays disision and if she did not choise to leave and got the opperation,they wouldnt have been as good of friends as they are now
