This book The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han was a good book I loved reading this book and the other two books that go with it. This book was about a teenager named Isabelle but everybody calls her Belly. Every summer she goes to Cousins beech to spend time with Jerimah Fisher, Conrad Fisher, and their mother Susannah Fisher. Every summer there was always the same till the summer that change Bellys life. Along with this big change she meets a boy named Cam, but she has feelings for one of the Fisher boys.So many questions run through her mind and only you will know what happens if you read this book.
ReplyDeleteThe book was great. I would read it again. Belly had a lot of boys who liked her. There was a lot of drama in the book between Belly and Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteThis book is so good how Belly finds out she pretty all of the sudden.How she spends the summer at a beach house with her moms best friend sons and every year the their the same towards her until every thing changes.So she has to pick between two boys that like her and she likes both of them you should read the book too find out who she picks it will be a big shock to you who she pick at the end of the series.
ReplyDeleteThe Summer I Turned Pretty is a really good book. It is about a girl named Bella that goes to the cousins beach every summer. She has had a crush on Conrad for the longest time ever but never got the look she wanted back from him. That summer everyone started looking at her differently and she knew that, that summer was going to be different. She meets this boy Cam that has liked her from the year they had a class together. They get pretty close but she still liked Conrad so it didn't really work out. She finally learns that she is over with loving Conrad but still cant get him out of her head. She tells him her feelings but he says she is acting like a kid. At the end Conrad finally starts being with her. In the book she learns that her favorite person in the world Susannah (Conrad's and Jeremiah's mother) is dying from cancer. That ruins their whole summer and she doubts that they will ever have another summer with them again. Jeremiah is the closest to her and she has always loved him as a friend. He told her that he looks at her differently than Conrad does so wants her to like him but she cant. tis is a really good book and I highly reccomend it.
ReplyDeletei love love loved this book it was a classic love triangle with a kind of twist it had your sensitive boy your funny one and your shy boy. belly goes to her moms best friends house for the summer every summer, but this summer will be different. this summer belly will be pretty this summer boys will notice her. oh and belly's real name isn't Belly its Isabelle. Belly is just her nickname.

She is has been in love with the same guy for a long time. But this summer after then changes for her she trunes pretty and she gets boys to realize that she isnt a baby anymore.

This summer was very different. She started to change and more boys started to notice her. But she finds out Susanne(Conrad and Jeremiahs mom) has cancer. Susanne would always be there for Belly and she thinks this is going to be their last summer together. In the end Conrad does fall for Belly! I really enjoyed this book!
ReplyDeleteThe summer i turned pretty is one of my favorite book . i think that i have a personallity like belly . she is Laidback , nice , sweet and caring of everyone . the book deals with a lot of drama that most girls deal with . some of the character in the book was belly , steven, concard , mr.fisher , and susannah . belly deals with a boy that she is in love with she don't no what to do or who she can depend . she also have this best friend named taylor and she is a diva and belly loves her for that .
ReplyDeleteThe Summer I Turned Pretty was an awesome book. It takes place in a small, beach town. Belly spends every single summer in Cousins with Jeremiah, Steven, Conrad, Susannah, and her mom. The book contains many flashbacks that help tell the story. Belly meets a boy named Cam but ends up dumping him and realizing she can't really get over her crushes Jeremiah and Conrad. In this book, Belly starts to grow up. She faces many internal issues that come along with growing up, like boys. Susannah ends up having cancer again and so Belly tries to make this summer, which she thinks may be their last, the best one yet. I would reccomend this book becaause it is really good. It's my new favorite! I loved the entire series.
ReplyDeleteThe Summer I Turned Pretty is a book about a girl named Belly who has spent every summer at a beach house in cousins with her Mom,Brother Steven,her mom's childhood friend Susannah,and her two sons Jeremiah ,and Conrad.Belly gets a boyfriend but still cant get over Conrad,who seems to act as if he doesn't care about it while Jeremiah begins to like her more than friends. Susannahs cancer came back but has gotten worse and it plays a big part in the book in everyone's life.
ReplyDeleteThis book was so good that I had to read the entire series. Belly spends her summers with her mothers friend and her kids. She is in love with the oldest named Conrad. She ends up trying to prove to the snobby Conrad that she is good for him. SHe has liked him for most of her life and I believe this is a good romantic book. Later Jeremiah starts liking her and she doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings. Jeremiah gets in a fight with Conrad because he is not treating her right.
ReplyDeleteThis book was about a girl and her family and they always went to this beach house with these close family friends. Then she starts to like the oldest brother of the people who go to the house with her. but the youngest brother likes her. i also would recomend this book to any girl.
