The book I was reading is called Curve Ball. The book is about a boy named Pete. He loves to play baseball and take pictures. Well over the summer Pete had hurt his elbow. He had to get surgery done on it, and the doctor said he ''Wouldn't be able to play again.'' His friend AJ didn't believe him at all. Well they met a new girl, and her name was Angelika. Her and Pete had started to go out. Well Pete had alot on his mind that year because his elbow was still hurting, and his Grandpa was losing his memories. Pete and Angelika had stayed at AJ house one night and AJ and Pete had gotten drunk. Well later on that year, his Grandpa was out in the snow with no shows on his feet. So he had to be put in a nursen home. Pete would visit him and bring him a present, but one day his Grandpa didn't remember who Pete was, but Pete didn't say anything.
ReplyDeletei liked the book .it was very intersting yet sad lots of jelosy and the drma then sadness.I at the bigening i thought it wasent that great then i keep raeding it got more and more interresting thoughout the book.The book may not look that good by the cover but its almost the best book i'v ever seen.I sugjest every one read this book it had me happy then sad and all over agen.
ReplyDeleteCurveball is a good book that deals with some things that many teenagers deal with today. Pete loves baseball but injures his pitching are making it where he cannot pitch ever again but his friend AJ does not know that. On top of this problem in his photography class there is a girl he really likes a lot. Worse than all of this his grandpa is having problems but tells Pete not to tell his parents. Pete has a lot of things he has to do but wil he make the right choices?
ReplyDeleteThis book is so good how he loves baseball something happens and he can't play no more.Then he does not tell his best friend what happensthen in his photo class their is a girl he really likes.He has alot of things he have to tell but where will he start.
ReplyDeleteCurveball is a good book. Most things that happen in this book happen to people our age today. Pete loves baseball. He was the pitcher until one day he got hurt pitching. Since then he wasn't able to keep pitching because of his injury. Pete's bestfriend is Aj. Pete can not tell AJ about his injury! Pete is keeping a lot of stuff from his friends... Will he ever tell AJ ? Read this book to find out!
