This book is so interesting on how you learn so many new things about people.I never though i would really care about the people in the book till i heared their stories.My favorite was about king tutt on how he died because it was so interesting.

I like the book because they talk about the different customs and beliefs of groups and how that may be the reason they died. My favorite story was the one about Henry the eighth, he dies of eating to much food and so does her daughter queen Elizibeth. This boo includes a bunch of extras including sign language! I recommend this book for anyone!
ReplyDeleteThe book How They Croaked was an amazing and interesting at how you learn about all of the people in our past history. I love all of these stories but my favorite was Henry VIII and how he died. This is my favorite story beacause it goes to show that when you do something bad it will always come back to "bite" you. This story also is very nasty and gross in so many ways from the chopping off of the heads to the sore on his leg. IF you love nasty, gross things than this book is for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteIN the book called How they Croaked is about these famous people and how they died.It is really good ans nasty at some parts but its still good. My favorite one was when Cleopatra die. You think she got bitten by a poisonous snake but she died by a hair clip. I think that a lot of people would like this book so i recommend to toughs people that like nasty and scary story's. they book is really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI L-O-V-E-D How They Croaked. Mainly because I love to learn about the past. How They Croaked mainly talks about how some people tragically died in the past. From King Tut to Albert Einstein, you get the whole entire story of how they died. Although it DID make my brain hurt when reading about Albert Einstein. Besides learning how people 'croaked' I learned other cool facts too, such as that Arachibutyrophobia is the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of my mouth. They had cool facts at the end of each person's story. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis book is about famous peoples death. There is alot of funny, nasty, and scary deaths.There is one about a president who i have never heard of. My favorite on is about Christopher Columbus. There are other ones you might like too. If you are not scared bye deaths happening then you shouldn't read this book.
ReplyDeleteHow They Croaked is a good book it had some gross things in it , but other than that it was pretty cool.This book is about how different people from back in history died. Like Pocahuntis, Christopher Columbus, King Tut , umm lets see who else ,oh yeah that Galilao person he dies of led posioning, and Cliapatria. Those are some of the people who died in that book . My favorite was Cliapatria because one her name sounds cool . And two because the way she died was really interesting. I mean come on think about it how cool is it to not go by the rumors that people say on how people died but to really know the truth on how people died thats really cool. You propley wouldnt like this book because the title sounds uninteresting, or the picture looks stupid, but dont judge this book by its cover ,because its not what it looks like ,its way better . I didnt think that I was gonna like this book ,but after awhile of reading it I loved it and I bet you will too. Its hard for some people to find a book that interests them and Im the same way but this book grabbed my intension from beginning to the end and I hope it does the same with you . So next time your looking for a book to read dont judge it by its cover . Judge it by if its good or not. I would totally recommened this book to anyone who likes or doesnt like to read!!!!!

ReplyDeletehow they crocked is the best book about famous people. My favorite person is Cleopatra was my favorite cause she was the ruler of Egypt. She married the french emperor Napoleon and they had a son together. when her rain came to an end she trapped herself in in a temple and threatened to burn the gold if any of the robbers came in. she died by suicide with poison but scientist thought she was bit by a snake but found the truth later on.

I learn that people can die from a lot of things that are very werid and differnt . my favorite death in the book was king henry . it was very werid . i also learn that you nned to take go care of your body and stuff because many of the deaths in my book was like open wounds and lead posion and stuff ..

ReplyDeleteHow They Croaked takes you back in time to historical figures you already know about, but it tells you how they die. It goes into more detail about their life than what you already knew about then goes into depth about how they died.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading the stories in this book. The author of this book did a fantastic job of telling the death stories of many famous people throughout history in a humorous way. For example, he tells Marie Antoinettes death saying that her last words were "I did not do it on purpose" when she stepped on her killer's foot. I learned cool facts in this book too. I learned that 4 American presidents have been assassinated, with Abraham Lincoln's son coincidentally being nearby 3/4 of the incidents. It was a very good nonfiction book.
ReplyDeleteI like the stories in this book. The stories of this book explen how people die for a long time ago. One of them die from a blood clot in thier leg and they died. One of them got shot in the back and they took him to the docter to get it out, when they tried to get it out they did not wash their hands and that is how he died. I think other people should read the book.

At first i tough that it would be a bad book but once I started reading it, it got more more interesting. I really enjoyed reading this book because i like how a book tell you different story's and that it doesn't just stay on one subject like some other books that i read before.

ReplyDeleteIn this rather special book you can find famous people from around the world and see how they died and this book has people from as far back as Julius Ceaser the Roman Emporor and one of his wife's Cleopatra the Queen of Egypt but as intrestingas this is it gives theories on how famous world leaders and true facts on how they died such as Napolean but it is a rather intresting book because of all the key component's it has in it and it is a very goodbook so read How They Croaked soon in your nearest school library.

It is amazing that we today can understand what happened to them so long ago. It fascinates me as to how people like Napoleon and Goerge Washington died. I love this book although I was sometimes a little disappointed in the peoples beliefs back then.

My favourite part is about how George Washington died. He died from an infection in his mouth. I strongly recommend this book to people who like to read.

It doesn't put things lightly, and ends up petting everything in quite disturbing. It talks about many deaths, such as Napoleon Bonaparte, George Washington, Cleopatra, and Ceasar. There's tons of sarcasm, plays on words, irony, and loads of gruesome detail.

I found "How They Croaked" to be a very interesting book. You get to learn how famous people and people in history died. Each person has a different story behind their death! I would reccomend this book to anyone. Very factual.

The book tells about famous people,how they died ,and the cause of their death.My two Favorite would have to be Queen Elizabeth and Julius Caeser. because Queen Elizabeth didnt want to die and she wouldnt go to sleep so she just stayed up,Julius Caeser was stabbed over 5 times and one knife in his chest actually killed him out of them all.I really enjoyed reading this book I would recommend it to everyone!!!!!!!!

I have heard of many of the people in the book but it is cool to now know how they died.The book also tells about how the medical people were like. Like what kind of skills they had and what methods they used.
