The Top Tiger Book Award Titles have been flying off the shelf (or um, cart).  Keep checking back in the media center for the book you want to read next!  I've just ordered additional titles at Barnes and Noble so we can provide more available books for everyone to read.  Don't forget to complete a blog post, book test/form, or take a Reading Counts test on the four books you are reading.  All books should be read and requirements completed by February 6th in order to attend our pizza party and to vote for your favorite.I'm looking forward to having a very large group attend!

    Jayme has very bad things going on in his life. His father left his family, his cat, which was his best friend, ran away, and his Aunt Sapphy had an accident at the factory she worked at. Everything has changed. They have moved in with his aunt. Aunt Sapphy can remember everything up to the dayof the accident when she hit her head on one of the machines. Now she can only remember 30 minutes ago. Jayme and his mother try to find different things that will help Aunt Sapphy "jump the scratch" in her memory, just like how a record player jumps over the scratchs on a record. Jayme tries everything. But when he tells Aunt Sapphy about a secret he has kept for many years, it helps her to "jump the scratch". Both a writer that comes to Jayme's school and a new friend he makes along the way helps him brighten his life just a little bit more. I recommend this book to anyone, escpecially someone who knows a person that has memory problems. This book taught me that "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again".

    twiligt by Stephin Meyer was a good book.
    My favorite part was awhen James and Edward got in a fight over Bella, and then james died. Bella is smart she is clever.

    Alabama Moon is a great book! It is ab out a 10 year-old boy named Moon. His father did not want him or Moon to have anything to do with the government. Moon's father died by having a broken leg. Moon was told to go to Alaska, but he decided not to. He was put into jail by a abusive police officer. Then he was put into a boys home. There he met Kit and Hal who went into the forest with moon. Kit got sick and died and moon lived with hal for a while. Then the mayor took moon to live with his uncle and cousins in Mobile, Alabama. This was a great book! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THIS BOOK IS BY STEPHANIE MEYER . BELLA SWAN MOVES ALL THE WAY TO FORK'S TO GO LIVE WITH HER STEP-DAD AND MEET'S THIS CHARMING BOY AT HER SCHOOL NAMED EDWARD CULLEN AND FALL'S IN LOVE AND FINDS OUT WHAT HE TRULY IS ( A VAMPIRE) AND WHEN MORE VAMPIRES ENTER THEIR BALLGAME BELLA HAS TORUN AWAY EDWARD HAS TO SAVE HER FROM JAMES VENOM . I RECCOMEND IT TO EVERYONE.
